Momentum Engineering Corp., a growing Accident Reconstruction firm, is looking for 2 talented Mechanical Engineers with 3-5 years of experience. Work involves assisting engineering staff in reconstructing vehicular accidents. Job requirements include a BSME and MSME. Strong computer skills are a must as well as an ability to work in a team environment. Suitable candidate will have proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with automotive engineering. Having basic knowledge of forensic engineering is preferred. We have openings at our San Diego and Torrance offices. We offer a full benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K. Job Description:

Investigate and reconstruct motor vehicle collisions, perform vehicle, site, and evidence inspections utilizing 3D laser scanning technology, conduct testing, crush pattern analysis and provide conclusion about causes and events that occurred. Requirements: Knowledge of 3D AutoCAD, MATLAB, forensic engineering, mechanical engineering, principles and the laws of motion and force. Experience calculating impact and departure speeds, collision forces and trajectories. Occasional travel within the United States to crash sites on as needed bases. No fixed itinerary. Degree Requirements: Master in Mechanical Engineering or Master in Automotive Engineering Miscellaneous: Multiple Openings.
